May, 2006
CEO Jim McNally (Ph. D. 1986) was the Convocation Speaker at the University of New Mexico's School of Engineering Graduation Ceremonies in Albuquerque. McNally congratulated the students and their families for all of their achievements and successes, and challenged the students to recognize all of the opportunities that lay before them, and to go forth and to define tomorrow. He encouraged them to face the future with energy and enthusiasm, take risks, and to be a change agent.

May, 2006
Continuing its support to the local community, TruTouch sponsored a local high school student from Albuquerque Academy as an intern. The student investigated the advantages to reducing overall liability costs that are faced by employers due to alcohol-related incidents in the workplace. He evaluated and gained preliminary information on the cost-savings potential that might be realized through the use of wide-spread, rapid noninvasive alcohol screening as a proactive solution to eliminating alcohol-related incidents in safety-sensitive industries.

April 29, 2006
The local ABC affiliate, KOAT, showcased the latest developments at TruTouch Technologies during its evening TV news program as TruTouch develops its first non-invasive alcohol testing product. The noninvasive product eliminates the need for any bodily fluids for testing, and the simple, touch-based approach to accurately measuring an individuals' alcohol concentration were highlighted in the report.

April 25, 2006
TruTouch was identified in the USA Today Cover Story as a technology for the future in the battle against drunk driving. TruTouch's initial noninvasive alcohol with identity verification products will provide more effective testing techniques for law enforcement, and the article went on to describe the future potential of the technology for touch-based, driver-specific, non-intrusive ignition interlocks.

February 21, 2006
TruTouch was recognized today by the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce for innovation, excellence, and contributions to the workplace and the community. Gerald L. Shaheen, Vice Chairman of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Group President of Caterpillar Inc., Greg Winegardner, President, Wells Fargo Bank, Albuquerque, and Terri Cole, President and CEO, Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, presented TruTouch with the Innovate Albuquerque Entrepreneur Awards acknowledging its innovative approach to product development.

Lt. Governor Diane Denish gave the opening remarks at the awards breakfast followed by the keynote speaker, Mr. Shaheen. Mr. Shaheen also chairs the Chamber's Transportation Infrastructure and Logistics Committee and serves on the board of directors of the National Chamber Foundation, the Chamber's public policy think tank. The award celebrates the entrepreneurial spirit at TruTouch and recognizes its position as Albuquerque trailblazers.

January 2006
TruTouch hosted Mr. Chuck Hurley, CEO of MADD, where Mr. Hurley announced that MADD will host an International Technology Summit on anti-drunk driving technology in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 2006. He was joined by distinguished guests: the Honorable Heather Wilson (NM-1), Mayor M. Chavez, Sheriff D. White (Bernalillo County), Chief of Police R. Schultz (Albuquerque), Rachel O'Connor (Governor Richardson's Public Safety representative), and Terry Huertaz (Executive Director, MADD New Mexico).

"Emerging technology is one of the most promising and potentially effective approaches to eliminate drunk driving in this country," said Chuck Hurley. "These technologies may soon help us separate drunk drivers from their weapon--a vehicle."

August 2005:
As part of its continued support to the local community, TruTouch sponsored graduate students from the University of New Mexico's Anderson School of Business. The students conducted market research and prepared a preliminary report on the potential of the TruTouch noninvasive alcohol products in industrial applications. The students worked under the supervision of Professor Sul Kassicieh.

July 2005:
TruTouch sponsored undergraduate business students from the University of New Mexico's Strategic Management course under the direction of Mr. D. Turner. The students developed preliminary market information for commercial fleet applications of the TruTouch noninvasive alcohol products.

July 2005:
TruTouch was featured on the July 3rd KKOB High Tech New Mexico Radio show.  Host, Mike Langner, interviewed CEO, Jim McNally, along with Officer John Francis, from the Rio Rancho, New Mexico police department.  The show's theme centered on the devastating effects of drunk driving, and how TruTouch's noninvasive alcohol with identity verification products will be used to provide more effective testing techniques for law enforcement and the judicial system.  The group also discussed the future potential of the technology as touch-based, driver-specific, non-intrusive ignition interlocks.

June 2005:
Jim McNally presented an invited talk at the 6th Annual Innovative Technologies for Community Corrections Conference in Seattle, WA detailing the most recent results on the TruTouch noninvasive alcohol technology.

June 2005:
Ben Ver Steeg and Trent Ridder publish "A New Eye on Law Enforcement: Photonics technology enables accurate, noninvasive alcohol testing" in SPIE's oeMagazine June issue.

May 2005:
TruTouch presents at the 12th Annual TVC New Mexico Equity Capital Symposium.  CEO, Jim McNally spoke to over 100 Venture Capital Investors at the TVC Equity Capital Symposium. Highlights from the two day event included a cocktail hour which featured live demonstrations of the prototype noninvasive alcohol monitor on symposium attendees.

April 2005:
TruTouch featured on the April 8th Venture Talk Radio show.

February 23rd 2005:
Albuquerque TV station KRQE highlighted TruTouch's noninvasive alcohol technology for its future application as an anti-DWI ignition interlock device. Senator Kent Cravens, a leading anti-drunk driving legislator, discussed the advantages of TruTouch's device including its convenience and accuracy.

February 2005:
TruTouch gives invited talk on "Noninvasive technology for alcohol testing" at the American Probation and Parole Association meeting in Anaheim, CA.

February 2005:
Dr. Jim McNally presented the latest developments in "Noninvasive Alcohol Measurements" to the Northeast Technology and Product Assessment Committee in Sturbridge, MA.
